If there is one thing that the Lagos Comic Con has become, it’s a virtual heaven for geeks in Nigeria who want to see new comic books, animations, awesome games, virtual reality, Cosplay and networking with their fellow geeks. With a day set aside for full exhibitions of comics and animation, panel sessions, Skype interviews, film zone and gaming zone. There certainly wasn’t a shortage of unseen footage ready to excite and entice.

The goal is to clarify the issues that have been raised in respect of the decisions of the Governing Council of the University at its 115th meeting held on Thursday 7th September, 2017, and pursuant to which seventeen (17) members of staff (Academic and Non-Academic) were dismissed, while some others were sanctioned. It will also afford the University the opportunity to respond to questions which might not have been raised earlier, and in respect of which respected media practitioners here will love to know the University’s position.

Military, S’East govs have no right to declare IPOB a terrorist organization – Saraki
The President of the Senate, Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki, on Monday, said the proscription of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) by the Nigerian military and Governors of the South-estates as a ‘terrorist organisation’ is unconstitutional and does not follow due process.
Mr Saraki said National Assembly will investigate the crisis in the South East owing to the clash between security agencies and the Indigenous People of Biafra, led by Nnamdi Kanu.
