OAU DSA Suspends All Religious Activities In School’s Halls Of Residence. (Photos)

The Obafemi Awolowo University Department of Student Affairs (OAU DSA) on the 4th of June 2017 made a special release stating that all religious activities should be suspended in the school’s
halls of residence.
The release also commanded all students to either pray in their rooms or go to the religious ground. This “Special Release” which was all in upper case read:

The DSA wasted no time in executing the new order. Reports claim that some members of the DSA and school security went to the two major hall mosques (Awolowo hall mosque and Fajuyi hall mosque) and destroyed all the temporary structures in it after sending the Students out of them.

However, there have been no reports of similar demolitions in any of the several ‘hall’ secretariats allocated the Christian fellowships.
