NWC clears Aregbesola’s aide for Osun West Senatorial primary

The Commissioner for Cabinet Matters in Osun State, Senator Midashiru Hussain, has said he has been cleared by the  National Working Committee of the All Progressives Congress to contest the
primary election scheduled to hold on Tuesday.

Hussai said this while speaking on the telephone with our correspondent in Osogbo on Monday evening.

 

He said, ” I have been cleared to contest the primary. The NWC of our party has cleared me to contest the primary election.

“So, by the grace of God, I will contest the election. I am in Abuja now and I will be in Osun for the primary election.”

The Screening Committee of the APC headed by Zamfara State House of Assembly Speaker, Sanusi Ritiji, had earlier disqualified Hussain, saying he did not resign 30 days before the election date.
The disqualification was upheld by the Appeal Committee of the party headed by Abdulahi Bello.
