Shola Ameobi will remain at Notts County after agreeing a new contract at Meadow Lane.
The
35-year-old former Newcastle striker moved to the Magpies on a
short-term arrangement in February and scored four times in 17
appearances.
Speaking to the club’s official website, Notts
County boss, Kevin Nolan, said: “Not only did Shola make a huge impact
on the pitch and in the dressing room, but he is also a big hit with our
supporters.
“When a player of his quality and experience
decides he wants to stay, it shows you are doing something right as a
football club.”
